I was delighted to find that one of my favourite childhood books was on the free book list, Swiss Family Robinson. I don’t know why I liked this book so much because reading it now it seems quite preachy but I do love the ingenuity the family shows. I seem to always have liked characters who are very self sufficient. Maybe that is why I like Evie so much in The Watchers.
I have also downloaded Dracula which is another free title. I read it when I was a student so I am looking forward to rediscovering it. Handily enough the Murph also bought a cover for the Kindle which has a built in light... so I can even freak myself out reading it in the dark…!
What do people think about the Kindle and other electronic books? Are you using them or sticking to paper? And what are your favourite classics?

How sweet. Good for you. Now you'll have a lot classics at her finger tips.
Very pretty!
At the moment I'm still 95% paper. I have the Nook app on my laptop and I occassionally read books there, but I'm probably going to take the e-book dive soon. I don't think I could ever go 100% e-book though. For some reason I like having my favorites in a physical format. Maybe its a comfort thing?
Sweet! :D That's really cool.
I'm new to your blog, and it's pretty awesome. :) I'm an aspiring author as well. I'm in the process of writing an lgbt novel and the editing(God, I hate this part) process of another one. :) I'm only fifteen though, so I know my query letter's going to be pretty empty. Hehe. So, I'm working on that.
Congrats on your agent! Lucky you :P And I hope your novel's a best-seller. :)

I've been hesitant to make the switch and love that feel of a book in my hand, but I have a friend who swears by her kindle. I might make the switch eventually! Glad you're liking yours :)
